Method
How a change
becomes a receipt.
What we watch. Public pricing and changelog pages only. Nothing behind a login, nothing private.
Capture. Pages are fetched daily. Scripts, navigation, footers and markup are stripped so the comparison runs on visible text. JavaScript-heavy pages are rendered in a headless browser.
Baseline. The first time we see a page we compare it with the closest archived copy from the Internet Archive, around six weeks earlier. That archived copy is linked on every receipt it produced.
Review. A diff is classified by a language model instructed to use only the quoted text and to reject cosmetic edits. Priority: P0 price or plan, P1 limits, packaging or major launch, P2 notable feature or positioning.
Limits. Automated review can be wrong. Every receipt links the live and archived source so you can check the claim yourself. Report errors and we correct or remove the entry.
